About the Miady Short 8-Inch Extension Cords (Outlet Savers)
Three styles share the family. The flat plug lies close to the wall, which helps behind a couch or a dresser. Straight blade plugs come plain or with a lighted end that shows when the cord has power. Packs of 2, 4 and 10 cover a single desk or an office full of power strips.
Each cord has molded plugs, reinforced blades and a vinyl jacket. At eight inches it works as a spacer, not as a way to reach a far outlet, so keep the total load of what you plug in under 13 amps. Longer cords and mixed sets are on the short cord page. You find the Short 8-Inch Extension Cords (Outlet Savers) among 8 models on the extension cords and plugs shelf of the Miady line.
Before you use it
A cord or plug is good for the load printed on it and no more. Keep cords out from under rugs and furniture, and plug a heater or another heavy load straight into the wall.
