Where the figures on miady.co come from, what we will not claim about a charger or a cord, and how to report a mistake.
The people who run the Miady catalog write every page on miady.co. Here is how a figure gets onto a page.
Figures about the products
Capacity in mAh, output in watts, amps, wire gauge, length and pack counts come from our own product data. Watt-hours are worked out from the capacity with the usual 3.7 volt cell figure, and the buying guide shows the sum. When two descriptions of one product disagree, we print the narrower figure or leave it out.
Many of our product photos carried slogans, icons and badges printed over them. Those photos are left off the site; what you see is the product itself.
What we do not claim
We say how much a power bank holds, how fast it charges and what it plugs into, and what a cord or plug is rated for. We do not promise how many full charges your phone will get, a set number of years of use, or that a cord suits a load we have not described. We do not print safety certification marks: the label on the product itself is the place to read them. Where a page talks about flying with a power bank or about cords and plugs, it names the public source it relies on, and the date we read each source is printed beside it.
Corrections
If a figure, a price or a sentence here is wrong, write to chargeup@miady.co. We fix the page and the product data behind it.
