About the Miady 15 Amp Extension Cord Ends, 5 Sets
An adjustable rear clamp grips SJT cord from 18 gauge up to 12 gauge. Copper contacts sit in nylon bases, and the housing is impact-resistant plastic. Spare ends in a garage drawer turn a damaged cord into a repair job rather than a new purchase, the next time a mower blade or a door hinge catches one.
The ends are rated 15 amps at 125 volts, the common household configuration. Fitting them to a cord of the right gauge is a job for a qualified person, not a quick twist of wires. Heavier plugs for welders, dryers and RVs are on the cords and plugs shelf. You find the 15 Amp Extension Cord Ends, 5 Sets among 8 models on the extension cords and plugs shelf of the Miady lineup.
Before you use it
A cord or plug is good for the load printed on it and no more. Keep cords out from under rugs and furniture, and plug a heater or another heavy load straight into the wall.
